Planning

Balances your production capacity against incoming sales demand and current inventory stock. It calculates exactly what materials you need to buy and when shop floor orders must start to prevent stockouts and avoid late deliveries.

How To Enable

To enable the Planning menu for a user, two permissions need to be enabled:

1. Enable Planner Permission

1. Go to Master Data → Users.
2. Open the required user.
3. Go to Role and Permissions.
4. Enable the Planner permission.
5. Save the changes.

2. Enable Planning Record Permission

1. In the same user’s Permissions section, go to Records.
2. Find and select the PL record.
3. Enable the required record permissions for PL.
4. Save the changes.

After both permissions are enabled, the user can access the Planning menu and work with Planning records according to the permissions assigned to the PL record.
